TIPS
The following aren't rules—just helpful suggestions to guide
you in the right direction.
The use of the line and characters can't be an
afterthought. The line needs to make sense in the context of your story,. Try to create your plot. You could have the
best made film in the contest, but if you just throw in the line and character
in there without any thought, you will not win this contest.
You can choose any genre you want for your film, but
whatever genre you choose, make something that's exciting and fun to watch.
Christmas is supposed to be fun, so try not to be boring.
Good technical skills will help you a lot. While this isn't
the most important thing, having good editing, cinematography, acting, and
sound, will go a long way. So if you have some great skills, or know anyone
with some great skills, make sure you put them to good use.
